Transfer news: West Ham fear Andy Carroll could leave for Chelsea
West Ham fear Andy Carroll has been left unsettled by the possibility of moving to Chelsea on loan.
The Hammers have been offered a swap deal, which would see Michy Batshuayi go the other way.
They would prefer a straight cash deal, but Carroll is understood to have his heart set on a move to Stamford Bridge, where he would play Champions League football.
Carroll has missed the past two games and will not feature against Shrewsbury in the Irons’ FA Cup third round replay on Tuesday night.
It is believed that the 29-year-old has an ankle injury, althougt scan results have been inconclusive.
