Struggling Dortmund looks for revival against Schalke
These have not been the best of times for Borussia Dortmund. The perennial Bundesliga title contender has suffered a dip in form such that questions are being asked of its readiness for the two-pronged pursuits in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League.
Tomorrow at the Signal-Iduna-Park, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and friends will try to halt the slide when they entertain Schalke. The match would hbe broadcast to Nigerians on StarTimes’ World Football channels 254 and 245.
Schalke is currently second on the table with 23 Points, three points ahead of fifth placed Dortmund, who is heading into the clash with no victory in its last five league games, collecting just one point from a possible 15, after losing 2-1 at VfB Stuttgart last Friday.
Monchengladbach will also host the defending champion, Bayern Munich at the Borussia-Park stadium, Monchengladbach, Germany.
Bayern Munich, who is currently leading the table with 29 Points, eight points ahead of fourth placed Monchengladbach heading into the clash, was able to strengthen its grip on the Bundesliga title race with a 3-0 win over Augsburg in its last match.
Speaking on the forthcoming games, Brands and Marketing Director of StarTimes Nigeria, Mr. Qasim Elegbede noted the company is steadily fulfilling its commitment to deliver a fine mix of sporting cocktail live to its customers and football lovers.
