PSG set to lure Guardiola from Man City

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has emerged as a prime target for Paris Saint-Germain.

Guardiola has 16 months left on his current contract with City.

The contract will see him earn £15million a-year, although the Etihad club have promised to revise and extend that deal.

PSG, however, still believe they will eventually get the Spaniard by offering him a mega deal and a new opportunity for him and his family in France.

But the Ligue 1 giants accept they may have to play a long game to get Guardiola.

They are boosted by the fact that in his two coaching roles so far, Guardiola spent four years in charge at Barcelona and just three years at Bayern Munich.

At both clubs, he refused repeated offers to sign extended deals, saying he was ready to take on a new challenge and ultimately chose to walk away.
