Transfer news: Ex-Man Utd star, Wilkins‎ backs Mourinho on ‎Dybala

Former Manchester United star, Wilkins says Juventus ace, Paulo Dybala is just the kind of player, coach, Jose Mourinho must sign.

Wilkins, who turned-pundit, said if Mourinho signs the Argentine international, it will be a good grief for Premier league leaders, Man City.

Wilkins told Sporting Bet: “If United sign him, good grief City will have to watch out.

“He’s one of those skilful South American players that will light up the Premier League.

“If I was a head of scouting for a top six club, I would tell them to go to South America to scout small, skilful centre-forwards because these guys are becoming world class players – like Dybala.

“He’s a magical footballer, works hard on and off the pitch and would be a credit to the Premier League.”

Meanwhile, Dybala admitted last month he couldn’t promise he would stay at Juventus for the foreseeable future.

He told Italy reporters: “I can’t promise I will stay at Juventus forever.

“It doesn’t depend on me but I don’t even want to say that this will be my last season here.

“I want to win everything now, football’s strange, you never really know what will happen in the future.

“But right now I do not say to myself ‘this is my last year and I am leaving’, I think of the present and try to win everything.”
