EPL: Tottenham’s plan to deal with Aubameyang during North London Derby revealed

Tottenham Hotspur defender, Toby Alderweireld, has said they would have to be “very clever”, to stop Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Saturday.

Both teams face each other in the second North London Derby to kick off this round of Premier League fixtures.

Aubameyang got off to a dream start with a debut goal against Everton on Saturday, following his £56million move from Borussia Dortmund.

Alderweireld, who has faced Aubameyang three times in European competitions in recent seasons, said: “Everybody knows he is very quick and he is a good finisher. He has it all and is in a good moment now as well so it is going to be very difficult to beat them but we will be ready for it.

“You have to work your mind.

“You know one against one on the same line he will beat you so you have to be very clever, read the situation and then try to beat him with your head.”
